How PerkScout compares credit card offers
PerkScout is an independent US credit-card offer reference operated by MEERFI LLC. We summarize specific terms shown on public issuer pages, so you can compare common tradeoffs before visiting a bank's official website.
1. Where the information comes from
Our initial dataset was checked against product pages published by Chase, Capital One and Citi. Every card page links directly to its issuer's source. The initial snapshot was checked Nov 7, 2026. Offer amounts and terms can change without warning, vary by channel, or depend on eligibility. We do not assume an advertised offer is available to every visitor.
2. What we compare
We record the published welcome bonus, eligible spending requirement and window, annual fee, intro APR purpose and duration where available, reward rates, issuer-provided cautions and the date checked. We do not convert points or miles into cash equivalents because redemption values differ. If a public bonus is dynamically personalized or cannot be pinned reliably, we say “Offer varies” rather than publishing an uncertain number.
3. How featured cards are selected
Featured cards are an editorial cross-section of everyday cash back, travel rewards, small-business spending and balance-transfer needs. “Featured” is not a numerical ranking or a personalized recommendation. The right card depends on spending habits, existing debt, eligibility and fees.
4. How change tracking works
PerkScout stores dated JSON snapshots. A bonus increase is shown only if a later manually checked public offer exceeds an earlier issuer-verified bonus for the same card and unit. We never invent historical prices, and no recurring collection or automated update schedule is active. The date shown is the date of the last recorded review, not a real-time availability guarantee.
5. Advertising and compensation
PerkScout has installed a Google AdSense loader on its production website while site approval is pending. No paid card placement or affiliate application links are used, and the “Issuer website” links lead directly to the banks without paid referral tracking. Once Google authorizes ad serving and it is enabled, MEERFI LLC may receive compensation for display advertising. 6. Important limitations
We are not a lender, broker, credit counselor or financial adviser. We do not determine approvals or rates. Only the issuing bank can provide final terms, account eligibility and application decisions. Consider balance-transfer fees, purchase-interest interactions, annual fees and the full cardmember agreement before applying. This guide is informational, not individualized financial advice.
